Inclusion in the Animal-Friendly Giving Guide introduces potential donors to your organization and assures them that it meets a certain level of animal-friendliness. Please read the current Test of Animal-Friendliness carefully before applying for inclusion in the Animal-Friendly Giving Guide. If your organization meets all of the qualifications and requirements of the Test, you may apply in three easy steps:

  1. Create a Kind Choices user account.
  2. Submit your organization's listing for our review. It will not be published until the organization is approved.
  3. Print out the short version of the Test (without definitions to save paper), complete it and mail it to Kind Choices, P.O. Box 20366, Dayton, OH 45420 or fax it to 716-299-4743.

Whether your organization meets all of the qualifications and requirements of the Test or not, we hope that you will complete our Feedback Survey on the Test for Nonprofit Organizations. After submitting your organization's listing, you may edit all content in it that does not relate to your score or grade on the Test of Animal-Friendliness. Please keep your organization's listing accurate. Kind Choices' expects to release a major revision of the Test of Animal-Friendliness every 1-2 years. After a new major version of the Test is released, organizations will have four months to complete and submit it. If we have not received an organization's new Test by that time, their listing in the guide may be unpublished until we have. The reasons for this are explained here. You will be notified by email of new versions of the test and reminded of the deadline for submitting it until we have received it.
